Villa Mazzi
Villa Mazzi has its origins in the Cugusi family estate near Montepulciano which is well known for its pecorino cheese.
Villa Mazzi is beautifully situated, immersed in the lovely warm colours of the Tuscan hills, surrounded by olive trees, vineyards and lush meadows dotted with the farm's grazing sheep.
It is located on Strada per Pienza, just 2 Kilometers from Montepulciano.
The farmhouse's position at 500 meters above sea level ensures mild weather with cool breezes during the hot summers. The property offers stunning panoramic views of the hillside town of Montepulciano, the temple of San Biagio, the Valdichiana and Cortona.
In the farmhouse there are 4 apartments either for 2 or 4 people, furnished and decorated in the warm traditional Tuscan style.
The architecture of the residence has the characteristic feel of a Tuscan farmhouse: the external walls are made of stone and terracotta brick, the ceilings have exposed wooden beams and the floors are tiled in terracotta.
Villa Mazzi is located close to Montepulciano with the possibility of easily visiting other historical and artistic Tuscan towns: Pienza 10 km, Chianciano Terme 9 km, Chiusi 22 km, Montalcino 35 km, Siena 65 km, Cortona 28 km etc.
If you enjoy sporting activities you can find swimming-pools (natural and thermal), horse-riding and tennis courts nearby.
